Good to know

Originally built in 1895, this beautifully restored 5-bedroom home blends rich history with thoughtful updates. Once a family home for over a century and later a veterinary clinic (you’ll be staying where the Studio Suite hosted patients for 50+ years!), the space now welcomes guests seeking a one-of-a-kind getaway. Enter through the grand double doors into an inviting entryway that flows into a spacious living and dining area—perfect for gathering, relaxing, or celebrating. Just beyond is the full kitchen and access to the Studio Suite, a private retreat with its own kitchenette, bathroom, and washer/dryer—ideal for in-laws, couples, or guests seeking extra privacy. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms on the second floor (each with a king-size bed) and a third floor featuring a large open space with two additional king beds, perfect for groups or families. Enjoy a full bathroom on every level, and step outside to unwind in the private hot tub or cool off in the in-ground pool. Whether you're here for a family reunion, girls’ weekend, business retreat, or winery tour, the Brick House of Washington offers space, comfort, and a whole lot of character—all in the heart of Washington, Missouri.

The Brick House of Washington was the perfect place for our multi-family stay for my niece's wedding weekend! It was walkable to the downtown restaurants and other shops in the very cute downtown area. We had everything we needed available to us at the house, which made for a very stress free stay! We even were able to take our kids out trick or treating in the surrounding neighborhood to make for an awesome Halloween night. I definitely recommend staying here, we loved our weekend here!

I would have to say that this might be the best rental we have ever stayed at. It was absolutely perfect for our big group. Plenty of space for everyone, clean and it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor area was amazing. If we ever have an event in Washington again, we will definitely stay here again!!

Just stayed here for a girls trip and it was perfect!! The house is beautiful and lots of room for all of us. The backyard/pool was amazing and very private. The house is in a great location and within walking distance to lots of bars/ restaurants/ shops. These hosts have thought of all the small details and everything that you could possibly need while you are staying there. Hoping to make this an annual trip!!!

This was our second time staying at The Brick House, and it is just phenomenal in so many ways: the pool, the amenities, the attention to detail, the beds, there’s just so much!

The home was perfect for the family! Each room was adequately spaced and plenty of well stocked bathrooms. The games and items they provided for the pool was absolutely wonderful. The kids had a blast and the adults very much enjoyed the comfort the house provided. The pool and hot tub were perfect for all of us! We would love to stay here again in the future! Also super appreciative of the great communication! They actively provided reminders for us for check-in and check out details and answered our questions very promptly.

I can't say enough great things about this house. This was our second stay for a girls trip and it was still as wonderful as the first visit. The house has every amenity you can think of: stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, many family games, and large pool. And the location is perfect with all of the restaurants, coffee shops, bars within walking distance. I highly recommend this house!
